Nage no Kata self defense

My favorite Judo throwing technique is where the adversary is brought down by placing your hand in the back of the head and the opponent is brought down with ease. This is my favorite throwing technique because your opponent can be brought down so easily if executed properly no matter the size of the opponent they can be surely defeated. It is easy to use as it quickly throws your opponent off their feet and allow you to attack. You can also use your foot along with this technique to ensure that your adversary is defeated if it seems that using your hands to bring them down isn't quite working. The best throwing technique in self defense for me is the osoto-gari throw where you can use your foot to throw your adversary down on the ground as they come forward toward you. This technique is the best for me because it is simple yet powerful and no matter the size of the person who is attacking me I definitely can throw them down and be able to attack. Many techniques may give bigger persons the upper hand on the smaller person but this technique I think can bring about equality for both size people. I am much of a smaller person and I can guarantee that my adversary will be on the floor if that technique is used because the opponent will be thrown off- balance and I won't need to use to much of my body weight but rather their own weight is used against them along with their strength and momentum because when someone attacks you they give you most of their strength.  http://miyamaryujujutsu.com
